When the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana was preparing to launch in 2012, its team turned to craftwork creative to develop all of its marketing content.
In order to be nationally competitive in recruiting the best aspiring Family Medicine doctors in the country, FMRWM needed to showcase more than its program offerings, it needed to sell Missoula as the best place to live, raise a family, and practice medicine. To get a sense of the content that I strategized and wrote for FMRWM, please visit their website or view an informational PDF I created for a promotional thumb drive.
I created the tagline, "First-Class Medicine in the Last Best Place," and acted as art director in development of the FMRWM logo via CrowdSPRING. The logo and tagline are in continuous use by the program, and can even been seen on t-shirts on the backs of residents and faculty around Missoula.
The graphics above are the front and back of a half-sheet handbill that was distributed by FMRWM at the 2012 Family Medicine recruiting fair in St. Louis. As you can tell, we wanted to emphasize both the quality of the program and the unparalleled allure of The Last Best Place.
The annual national Family Medicine recruiting fair is a swag-filled event, so I created the artwork and copy at left for a USB card to hand out to prospective candidates. The drive was filled with a movie about Montana and the program, an informational PDF, and other promo materials, all of which I created.
For an extensive writing sample, please view the PDF, which features in-depth information about the curriculum, faculty, staff, mission, and facilities.
